After testing how intelligence models like Meta's SAMD3D actually capture body pose and shape, I've been left wondering: can a machine ever truly perceive the real world as chaotic and raw as the kinetic dance of human turmoil? This whole project, inspired by the intense, poetic discussion of cellular anguish in Olivier Dubois’ “Tragédie,” centers on one relentlessly bending arm in a black lacquered ballroom, turning that singular, incessant gesture into a precise but chaotic dataset; the crucial step then becomes tracing those reconstructed movements and computationally wrapping them in a fluid band of material, which is the only way to genuinely investigate how the material architecture of clothes and the movement itself conspire together to define the space.
