Synopsis
Synopsis
Gravity of Time treats architecture as a temporal sequence scripted through landscape, erosion, and film. Using cinematic reconstruction and digital terrain analysis tools such as Houdini and QGIS, the project examines an island as both a fictional construct and a physical reality. A shipwreck acts as a catalyst, redirecting currents and sediment so the coastline becomes an active instrument rather than a static boundary. Drawings, simulations, and a film trace how matter is displaced, deposited, and eroded over time, proposing an 'island museum' that only materialises when environmental change causes the movement or accumulation of matter.
